FREEDOM!!

Freedom. That's the only word that comes to mind. For the next few weeks, there will be nothing but sleeping, training and reclaiming the me that has gotten lost since September. Finally.

I SURVIVED!!

In the first few days of September, I never thought I'd see this day. I am officially on Christmas break and somehow, I survived four months with my 6/7s. Some days have flown by, others have felt like an eternity. Some days, I've sat at home crying, beating myself up over taking on this change and other days, I'm grateful for the challenge. But not one single day has been easy. We had countless conversations about bullying, gossiping and friendships. My brain is fried, my body tired. I wonder how we managed to fit in anything else! Here I was completely worried about learning the curriculum when I should've been more concerned about how to be a teenager! It definitely is a new world to me. Let's hope the New Year will bring on some peace & calm in my classroom!

The next two weeks will be filled with sleep, CrossFit, shopping and relaxing. Somewhere in there, there is some marking to do but I'll be damned if I go back to school fried and unrested.

Some of my loves

If you know me at all, you will know that I have an insane weakness for all things Lululemon, lattés, shoes & handbags and am never far from my iPhone. Now we can add my Macbook Pro to the list. I thought I was good with my Macbook--I literally had no idea what I was missing out on! The Macbook Pro is so much more. I am still discovering new trackpad gestures, little tweaks and improvements since I bought my original Mac 5 years ago, and in sheer awe of the beauty & clarity of the new screen. I'm hooked! :P

so excited!

After 5 years with my much loved white MacBook, I am finally moving on and have ordered my new aluminum-cased MacBook Pro!! While much of it will be similar, I'm sure I'll have my share of headaches trying to transfer one computer's files onto the other and learn all the new features. Looking forward to two weeks off at Christmas to figure it all out! :D

new blog, new adventure

Trying to maintain two blogs should keep me pretty busy. While my personal blog has been a work in non-progress for well over a year, I'm going to try and get a school one started too! Wish me luck!

Day One...no clue!

so here i am sitting at a tech workshop and i am setting up blogspot...what am i doing?! do i need something else to suck up more of my time?! Is my life so interesting that the entire world has to be kept up to date?! Facebook, Twitter, now blogs...oh boy.
